

INTRODUCTION
Florida Living Outdoor proudly warrants that all installation services provided—including motorized screens, awnings, and associated structural components—are performed in accordance with industry best practices and Florida building standards. This limited craftsmanship warranty is extended to the original purchasing customer and applies exclusively to installation labor performed directly by Florida Living Outdoor. The warranty remains valid for a period of 5 years from the date of completed installation.
COVERAGE
Under this warranty, Florida Living Outdoor will, at its discretion, repair or correct any installation-related defect arising from improper workmanship, provided the issue is reported within the warranty period. Coverage includes proper mounting, alignment, fastening, and final adjustments related to the screen or awning installation. This warranty ensures that systems operate as intended at the time of installation and that the structure is safely and securely attached in accordance with the product manufacturer’s guidelines.
EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not extend to product failures or defects, which are covered under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty for motors, electronics, fabric, screen mesh, or hardware. Additionally, the craftsmanship warranty does not cover any damage resulting from unauthorized alterations or attempts to modify, adjust, or relocate the installed systems. Any tampering or work performed by third-party contractors or individuals will void this warranty.
THIRD-PARTY WORK
It is also important to note that any third-party contracted work is not covered under this craftsmanship warranty. Third-party work is defined as any labor or services performed outside the scope of Florida Living Outdoor’s direct contract. This includes, but is not limited to, electrical work, permitting, low-voltage wiring, or integration with home automation systems completed by electricians, AV specialists, general contractors, or other service providers not employed or subcontracted directly by Florida Living Outdoor. Any issues arising from or related to third-party work—whether due to improper installation, coordination errors, or incompatibility—are the sole responsibility of the party that performed the work and fall outside the scope of this warranty.
ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIONS
Furthermore, the warranty excludes damage resulting from misuse or neglect. This includes but is not limited to forcing movement of motorized components, failure to retract screens or awnings during adverse weather conditions, hanging objects from the framework, or obstructing the operational path with debris. Normal wear and tear, surface fading, UV damage, and environmental exposure are also excluded, as are damages caused by acts of nature such as hurricanes, windstorms, lightning, floods, and other force majeure events.
CLAIM PROCESS
This warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser at the installation address. Any warranty claim must be submitted in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue, along with supporting details and photographs where applicable. Florida Living Outdoor will evaluate the claim and, if approved, will coordinate repair service during normal business hours.

365-DAY SYSTEM OPERATIONAL LABOR WARRANTY…
In addition to the craftsmanship warranty, Florida Living Outdoor offers a 365-Day System Operational Labor Warranty, which covers the complete functionality of the motorized screen or awning system for one full year from the date of installation. This warranty applies specifically to labor required to ensure the operating system functions as intended.
Covered items under this operational labor warranty include issues affecting the screen’s ability to retract and deploy correctly, adjustment of components, syncing or troubleshooting remote controls, reconfiguration or replacement of Bond Bridges, motor replacement, and screen replacement—provided the parts required for replacement are covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty.
This labor warranty does not cover the cost of parts or materials that are not covered under the applicable factory warranty. If a part such as a motor or screen must be replaced and the manufacturer no longer honors its coverage, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the replacement part. However, Florida Living Outdoor will perform the necessary labor to install or adjust the system at no additional labor charge during this 365-day period.
36 - MONTH TRACK WARRANTY
In addition to the standard craftsmanship warranty, Florida Living Outdoor offers a dedicated 3-Year Track Warranty for all motorized screen installations. This warranty covers the proper operation of the sidetrack retention system.
Should the screen dislodge from the sidetrack and fail to refeed itself through its self-correcting mechanism—and if the issue cannot be resolved through guided troubleshooting over the phone—Florida Living Outdoor will dispatch a service crew to correct the issue at no additional charge to the customer.
This warranty applies only to installations performed by Florida Living Outdoor and is valid for a period of three (3) years from the installation date. It does not cover issues caused by user interference, third-party tampering, acts of nature, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines.
